Same as the previous assignment, I just added color to the letters and the surrounding boxes.

I used different values within the boxes and letters to discover the relationships between forms and counter forms and the resulting effects upon visual space.

Chapter 6 Exercise 5: Tracing an image and creating a clipping mask

I used an image found on the internet and created a clipping mask out of it.

Chapter 6 Exercise 1-4: Line Art And Flat Graphics

I used the paintbrush tool in Adobe Illustrator to draw lines and used to pen tool to recreate the lines.

I went out into the wilderness and found a pinecone that interested me. So, I took it, scanned it, and changed the color it.

I colored these four squares to make it appear as if the green squares in the centers are different colors.

I put the gray square in the white and black squares to give off the illusion that they have different values.

I used the green square to show that hues with different values relate to the colors around them.
